[reprinted from the NSRCF newsletter, vol. 33, Fall 2025] During these uncertain times it’s good to reintroduce the Fund’s motto -“Commemorate the Past - Educate for the Future.” In “commemorating the past” the NSRCF honors the courageous people of the National Japanese American Student Relocation Council (Council) who stood up and opposed the unjust forced removal and incarceration of 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry during World War II. The Council
